Helicopter Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Well-Known Southern California Coast
An aircraft hovering over a well-attended California shoreline abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, eventually descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm fronds as spectators observed.
Recordings shared on the internet capture the helicopter commencing to spiral over the shoreline then falling in the direction of the border of the beach, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Information
Emergency responders stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

The department said the chopper was connected to an annual “Cars with Copters” fundraising event set for the next day.
